Here's a video of a polar bear underwater. They can stay under for up to two minutes. He's gorgeous, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvmUBDsdyW8

While fishing in Manzinillo I actually caught some sort of sea duck that dove down to get the squid that I was trolling for sailfish with. The hook didn't get him but he got all tangled in the line. I had the reel it in and cut him free.

AND .....have someone along to video tape it!! I'm so glad they invented sunblock. I can actually go fishing in the ocean now without burning to a crisp! That ocean reflection used to just fry me.

That was probably a cormorant. They call them "ducks" in México because of the way they fly. They are definitely opportunistic feeders. Lizzy

Yea, the only ones I've seen were on TV. I think most of them drink Coke..., or maybe some other beverage I'm not fond of.hockables wrote:Lobo2626 wrote:Sorry Hock. Just goes ta show ya, you don't see everything you read.hockables wrote:Ugghhh... it's like the sign says: A Polar Bear

Have you ever noticed on those tv fishing shows, the weather is different in almost every shot... I bet they spent a month filming an episode and end it by saying " that was a great afternoons fishing Charlie " :)

Re: Local Sport Fishing
You're right! Not only that. They couldn't possibley catch the "big one" every time they go out. I don't watch them often.
