Ah, sciatica. Ouch.
Can anyone recommend a Lakeside area acapunturist and/or chiropractor, por favor?

Victor Youcha is the only licensed chiro at Lakeside. He is also a certified acupuncturist. 766-1973

Hope you feel better soon, Gringal!
I've never used Dr. Youcha but I've always heard good things about him!
Muy buena suerte.

The back thing comes and goes. Right now, it's starting to go.
Someone suggested a Dr. Heredia in Chapala, also. I've heard his practice is "different". What have you or others heard?

I have a friend who loves him and calls him the hippy, trippy Dr. Ricky. He has helped several people I know with back and knee pain. He treated sciatic pain for me and did a good job. His office is unique. If pristine, modern stereotypical medical office decor is important to you, he is not the doctor for you.

Re: ACAPUNCTURE/CHIROPRATOR
a lot of people call him the witchdoctor. i went to him once just long enough to be misdiagnosed.
have you ever had an epidural injection done by an orthopedic surgeon like dr. gonzales at the maskaras clinic? i had 3 compressed discs that were affecting my femoral nerve which screwed up my hip and front of my leg and caused huge pain for over 5 weeks. i have been pain free for almost 2 years, except for l5 and s1 which are affected by arthritis so manipulation would make that worse. he is there on fridays. i only need a lertus cd every week or 2 for the latter. sorry folks-i have no pictures .

Well, that's one plus and one minus for the "hippy" doctor.
Since Dr. Youcha is closer, I'll try him first.
(Don't think I'm bad enough off to need injections yet.)
Thanks for the replies. I appreciate any.

Re: ACAPUNCTURE/CHIROPRATOR
go see him anyways and let him decide if you are bad enough.$600p. i was seen by 2 other surgeons one of them wanted to do pins and plates and the other one just wanted to mess with my hip and ream it and put some gunk in it. gonzales did some injections in his office first but there was too much damage hence the major injections,at del carmen fer about $5000 total. you might wanna reconsider the acupuncture and chiropractic, for something done once long term. if the office shot works it's only $200 more
