Looking for dining furniture
Could be new or used. High-end, Spanish colonial is my preference.

You might get suggestions if you included your location and your preference for ready-made or custom. They are both readily available at Lakeside from many sources. Check the furniture store in Chapala, for example.

they don't handle high end spanish colonial. that kind of furniture is not readily available here. one of the suites at the monte carlo hotel is decorated with some really nice bits.RVGRINGO wrote:You might get suggestions if you included your location and your preference for ready-made or custom. Then, perhaps Tlaquepaque might be the place to look.

Looky here:
Ornelas Replicas and Originals
There is also a furniture maker in one of the T towns who some say does even better work than this place, but I can't remember the name.

Go see Bob Catlet at the furniture shop next to El Barco. He makes beautiful Furniture and is very reasonable priced. If he doesn't have what you want he can make it or locate it for you with the many suppliers he uses

There are two brothers making wonderful furniture in Sayula. Hecht in Tlaquepaque is also very good.

If you have FB look under beg barter, buy lake Chapala. There is a real nice set for sale by Larry Benton. If I needed one I would buy it. Mexican hand carved but not too ornate.
