buying liquor items online

I haven't any idea where to begin and an attempt has resulted in total confusion. I am looking to purchase several liquor items when NoB and I expect success only by ordering them. However I cannot figure out from whom to order. I could have sworn Amazon sold liquor but apparently it's no longer an option.

So if you have knowledge of a decently priced online liquor site I would appreciate your sharing. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I guess I will just have to work my way down the list. Just out of those 4 the price spread for one item I am looking for Lillet Blanc is $17.00 to 32.99 and of course the least expensive cannot ship to any of the 4 states I will be visiting. Pimms No 1 availability is very limited and although the least expensive site has it, at $18, they cannot ship it.

I am glad I began looking early because I am going to get stuck at www.lovescotch.com for hours. LOL

Mission Liquor in LA has decent prices, but KLwines (.com) in San Francisco is my favorite. For more obscure spirits D & M in San Francisco is good.

Given the fact that you have stated that you will be in four different States, I would think that at least one of them might just have decent liquor stores with decent selections and decent pricing? Keep in mind that TSA theoretically has a 5 liter limit in checked luggage when you are headed back south. Never knew that until the other day when a TripAdvisor member posted a link to that info. If you are driving back, that is a whole different issue!

Looks as though I am going to have to search out a real store to go into, probably somewhere in Texas on the way home.

if you go to that store, might i recommend laphroaig single malt 10 year old at 39.99. about 10 years ago it was well over 50 bucks in alberta. in any event, the flavour is exceptional.

Interesting, wine ships but liquor does not.

Turns out I will be stopping in TX at Total Wine and can preorder and prepay for what I want and then just roll thru and pick it up onmy way home. The prices were perfect.
