Ruben now at Quetzal

Coming back from Spencer's office today, we decided to stop for lunch at Quetzal, the waterfront restaurant at the west end of the Chapala malecon. Imagine our surprise when we were greeted by Sr. Ruben Varela (of Ruben's grill and Mama Chuy fame). He is now running this restaurant. The food had always been good at Quetzal, and was still good today, as the menu has not changed. Ruben was in top shape and actually sang a song for us!
We're kind of happy to see him again, as we really enjoyed his previous restaurant on the carretera in Ajijic. There were more people there than usual, so I hope things pick up for him. Maybe a good place for a swarm?
