Buy it from Amazon or Amazon.mx, shipping charges are minimal. I've never been charged duty on anything from Amazon US.

I am buying it from Amazon, free shipping, Sol y Luna will bring it down but customs to import it from Laredo will be 100 plus US.

Hi Marty, I'm going to buy the Kindle HD 10" 16GB tablet. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0189XZ01I/ref=twister_B0117U8A7G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Would they ship it to you in Canada?

Personally, I'd get the 32 GB. I nearly got the 16 GB with my Ipad and was talked into 32 & was glad I got it. I don't know how much more that would cost & maybe 16 is fine for what you're going to use it for.

I have the Fire 7, love it, but it has only 8GB, and I need to upgrade as it's out of space. The Fire 10 has slots to add GBs, I will order 16 and later if I need more I'll just add another memory card for 11 bux. Thought I'd use the 7 for books and the 10 for surfing and movies and apps, etc.

They have it in Guad?!?! In English? Amazon/Kindle would sell them at Best Buy?

Yes, Best Buy sells Kindles. I bought my HD Fire at Best Buy in Phoenix. I believe you select the language when you set it up.

I checked their website and they do have the kindles here too. Just not sure if they have the model you want as they don't list everything on-line. Give them a call.

Thanks, CB. I did a search on both GDL sites and lots of Kindles but no 10. I can try calling them later.

Jaja!! Tell me about it.  I accidentally punched the wrong key on my fire while in Ireland and everything came up French.
Lot a good that did me there, so being a luddite, I had to find a computer tech to get back to a language I understood.
Just an excuse for another Guinness. Beer
