Watch Repair Empty Watch Repair

Post by SunFan Fri Sep 12, 2014 1:17 pm

Does anyone know what is going on with the watch repair shop across the street from the Bus Terminal in Chapala.

I went yesterday to pick up my repaired watch and NO Watchmaker. The store was completely empty and being painted. No one around professed to knowing anything about his whereabouts.

Any leads as to where he might be? I hope he just moved.

TIA

He passed away about 2 weeks ago. I know some people who attended his funeral.
It was a heart attack....43 years old.

I had been going to him for batteries I could not find elsewhere, (or didn't try hard enough, or search in the right places) and have used him for my mantle clock. Now it needs maintenance and a friend has a clock she needs to have looked at also. Would anyone have any idea who is able to work on antique clocks? TIA

Don't know any lakeside but here is a good one in Guadalajara.

Relojeria Omega
Agustin Fuentes
Av Juarez No. 48
tele: 33-3613-4554

He repaired a pendulum clock for me satisfactorily and several other people I know have been satisfied with his work on watches and clocks.
